Job Description

Position Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Uganda

Key Responsibilities:
Human Rights Projects:

Coordinate advocacy campaigns promoting youth participation in human rights initiatives.
Collaborate with community leaders to address human rights issues affecting vulnerable populations.

Climate Change Initiatives:

Manage climate action projects, including awareness campaigns and youth-led climate adaptation strategies.
Facilitate training on sustainable practices and renewable energy.
Green Entrepreneurship:

Support youth entrepreneurs in developing eco-friendly business models.
Organize workshops and mentorship programs for green startups.

General Duties:

Plan, implement and monitor project activities.
Prepare project reports and liaise with partners, including donors and government agencies.
Conduct community mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals and international standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, environmental studies, or related fields.
Experience in project management, human rights advocacy, or entrepreneurship.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with climate change and sustainability practices.
