Welcome to Jobs in Uganda (“the Platform”), a product of Goodman Tech Systems Ltd (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using our website www.jobsinuganda.org, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering, or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

2. About Us

Jobs in Uganda is a digital recruitment and job-matching platform developed, owned, and operated by Goodman Tech Systems Ltd, a registered company specializing in digital solutions including web design, telemedicine platforms, digital pharmacy systems, and online marketplaces.

3. Services Provided

Jobs in Uganda provides:

  • A platform for employers to post vacancies.

  • Tools for job seekers to create profiles and apply for jobs.

  • Communication tools for job seekers and employers.

  • Premium services such as featured job posts and highlighted profiles.

We act only as a facilitator and do not guarantee employment, job offers, or candidate selection.

4. User Accounts

  • Registration: Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

  • Suspension: We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Platform.

Responsibilities of Users

  • Employers must post lawful, accurate, and non-discriminatory job listings.

  • Job seekers must provide truthful applications and credentials.

  • Users must not engage in:

    • Fraudulent or misleading activity.

    • Posting offensive, illegal, or harmful content.

    • Data mining, scraping, or unauthorized use of Platform information.

6. Fees and Payments

  • Access to basic services is free.

  • Premium features (such as promoted job listings) may require payment.

  • Fees are payable in Uganda Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise stated.

  • All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Ownership and Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, trademarks, and designs on the Platform are the property of Goodman Tech Systems Ltd or its licensors.

  • Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for service delivery.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We provide the Platform “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • We are not responsible for:

    • The accuracy of job listings or CVs.

    • The outcome of any recruitment process.

    • Losses, damages, or disputes arising from employer-job seeker interactions.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain external links. Goodman Tech Systems Ltd is not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their policies.

11. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or engage in unlawful activities.

12. Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
